Our dedication to our clients starts with finding those who share our passion and desire in providing Spokane's seniors the best care. This is a great opportunity to fulfill your calling while having a career as a professional caregiver. We offer flexible schedules, which allow you to earn income and use your interpersonal skills within a challenging, yet fun and supportive job environment.

We currently have the following opening(s): Hourly Caregivers and 24-Hour Caregivers


Establishing a professional relationship with clients and completing duties listed in the client’s care plan. Duties included but are not limited to the following:

  • Companionship
  • Meal Prep
  • Shopping and errands
  • Transportation
  • Personal Care

Needed Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Caregiving experience preferred but not necessary
  • Must possess valid driver license, auto insurance and a good driving record
  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal history background check
  • Must have current CNA or HCA certificate or be willing to complete HCA training
    and certification process upon hire and have 7 day a week availability, depending on client needs

Do I need any type of certification or specific training to be a caregiver?

According to Washington state law, caregivers do need specific training and licensing; however, assistance and training is available with Family First.

What types of work schedules are available?

As clients’ needs change, we adjust to their care needs. Many of our caregivers work 25-30 hours a week and enjoy a flexible schedule, which allows for continuing education goals and spending time with family and friends.

What about starting salary?

Family First pays a competitive salary and offers opportunities for caregivers to earn raises and bonuses.
